Origin Story

The concept behind Chā Lab is to create a space that enables discovery of both traditional and contemporary tea. The goal is to enjoy tea and at the same time preserve its inherent qualities and experiment with new and interesting flavors. By perfecting each step of the process, our aim is to establish a brand that can stand the test of time.

Passion for Tea

We have conducted extensive testing of tea leaves from Taiwan, the original birthplace of bubble tea. Only the finest leaves are selected to create our bubble tea drinks, following many sleepless nights. The leaves that possess both rich Body and captivating Aroma are the ones that have been favoured by our taste buds. We are meticulous about the brewing process, carefully measuring every gram and paying close attention to every second.

Tapioca Pearls

Vegan-friendly and gluten free Pearls are made from premium tapioca flour in Taiwan.

It takes more than an hour to fully cook and steam pearls after which sugar cane is added for gentle sweetness and chewy texture. Brown sugar pearls will take longer to cook with our special blend of dark sugars giving it a unique taste.

Tapioca pearls are only available for 4 hours after which a new batch is being served.

Freshly Made

Each cup that comes out of the store is freshly made one at a time. We are double checking every time a new batch of tea or tapioca is made.

Every cup that customers get is what we would have enjoyed drinking ourselves. That's our commitment!
